I have worked as a journalist, photographer and editor of newspapers throughout country NSW and the UK. Photography has always been a passion and now as a mother I have come to understand the importance of capturing every moment to treasure for eternity.
Weddings are also another moment in life to document with confidence. I have worked on more than 40 weddings and have a great understanding and experience of what is required of a wedding photographer.
I have especially loved working with couples in my profession, from engagement shoots, the wedding, ‘bump’ photos and then meeting the new arrival.
Every photography session is precious to me and I cannot wait to work with you.
Some of the highlights of my photography career include the opportunity to work with Angus and Sarah Barrett on their catalogue for their beautiful handmade leather products. The photographs I captured with them featured in their catalogue that was awarded first prize in the Australian Catalogue Awards in 2014.
"We are extremely proud of this catalogue, which was designed and created in house by our team here at Angus Barrett. Special mention and thanks go to Richard & Sandi Bull at Tamarang, Derowie Performance Horses and James & Sal Morse for the use of their beautiful horses and to Sally Chapman Photography and Wild Fillies Photography for their assistance with the photos."
Other highlights have included photographing the NSW Governor General, Marie Bashir and also the Australian Governor General Sir Peter Cosgrove and I have also had one of my photographs selected to feature in the Australian Bull Dog calendar which was a lot of fun.
But the best validation of my photographs has to come from a tear in the eye of a family member when they hug their photos.
